Alumni for
the future.

Yoana Alumni Organization (YAO) was founded by alumni of the Yoana Jabotinsky Youth Village in Be'er Ya'akov. We give back to the village and to the students growing up there today.

Our story

Since 1948, the Yoana Jabotinsky Youth Village in Be'er Ya'akov has raised generation after generation of children, many of them new immigrants who found their first home in Israel there. Anyone who grew up there knows: it wasn't a school. It was home.

In 2025 a group of alumni got together and decided that this bond doesn't end on graduation day. They founded the organization to bring the alumni community back together and to give back to the village and its students. It was officially registered on 16 November 2025, and it has been bringing the community together ever since: lively class groups, gatherings at the village, and educational programs for the students there today.

Our vision

Giving back to the village
what it gave us.

The Yoana Jabotinsky Youth Village made us who we are: the houses, the teachers, the friends who became family. We're bringing sixty graduating classes back together as one community, and all of us together are helping the village students of today.

Our goals, on record

Six goals, written into our founding documents. They're the compass for everything we do.

1

Strengthening the bond between the alumni of the Yoana Jabotinsky Youth Village and the village, its students and its staff, and looking out for, supporting and helping alumni.

2

Adding educational, social and career value for the village's students and its alumni.

3

Promoting programs for excellence, innovation, wellbeing and equal opportunity for students and alumni.

4

Building an alumni directory for staying in touch, mentoring, fundraising and community activity.

5

Running projects in education, employment, culture and wellbeing for the village community.

6

Raising funds and building independent sources of income to pay for the organization's work.
